Get Together. Do Good.

Who we are

Women getting together to do good

100 Women Who Care Charlotte (100 WWCC) is a Giving Circle comprised of Charlotte-area Women who agree to get together several times a year to do good.

It’s Simple:

Members agree to attend quarterly meetings. Members are eligible to nominate any Charlotte-area 501(c)(3) non-profit.* At each meeting, three charitable organizations are picked at random and presented to the group by the nominating Member. Presentations are about 5 minutes plus Q&A. Members vote anonymously for who the Giving Circle will support. Afterward, each Member donates $100 to the deserving Charity. 100 WWCC is not a Foundation, or a nonprofit, but instead a Giving Circle. We facilitate our Giving Circle’s donation on Grapevine.

Get together. Do Good. 100 Women X $100 = $10,000 to support the Charlotte community.

*Must be a LOCAL 501(c)(3) non-profit in good standing to be eligible.

Our History

Brought to Charlotte in 2023, 100 Women Who Care Charlotte is a proud part of the 100 Who Care Alliance, the network of other 100 Who Care Giving Circles across the US and the World. Quarterly, we get together for a fun dinner party where we give back to a chosen Charlotte-area non-profit with our collective donation.

While visiting the Charleston area, our local Giving Circle’s founder Jennifer Otis read an article about the Charleston-based 100 Women Who Care. She decided to join the giving circle in her hometown of Charlotte. Much to her surprise, Charlotte did not have a 100 Women Who Care giving circle. The rest is history as she embarked on starting the Charlotte chapter from scratch with a small group of likeminded friends. The rest is history! Our membership continues to grow as we welcome new members at every gathering. All Charlotte-area women are welcome! Click HERE to join!
